Deborah Garrett, founder/owner

As founder and principal performer of Flashback Music Memories, I have over 20 years professional singing experience spanning opera, sacred music, musical theatre, and Big Band. I am co-founder of "The Girls Next Door 1940's vocal trio" and specialize in popular songs from the 1920's through 1950's. In addition to my Vintage Entertainment and Weekly Activities and Music, I am an active classical musician. Upcoming performances include Mozart's Requiem as the Soprano Soloist in Italy this summer!

I was extemely fortunate to attend Smith College, graduating cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Developmental Psychology (specializing in the early and late years of life), and a minor in Vocal Performance.

I have always had a desire to truly make a difference in the lives of others, and I particularly enjoy bringing joy and memories to housebound seniors in Assisted Living facilities.

Prior to owning the activities company, I was Activities Director for Living Made Easier(SM) for three years, providing weekly Activities & Music for the elderly in Residential Assisted Living Board & Care and private homes. In 2009, I acquired the business from LME, and am proud to have increased the number of clients, houses and sessions to continue the legacy of high-quality programming that Terese Walton began.
